The NCLEX-RN is really hard. It tests all aspects of nursing, and it tests at higher levels of knowledge than most nursing exams with many application-level questions and lots of dreaded “select all that apply” questions. Dan takes a lot of pride in helping his students pass the NCLEX and regain their confidence and optimism. Dan has helped students who had failed up to seven times previously finally pass. Dan teaches how to best study for the NCLEX, provides his own exclusive study guide and handouts, ensures mastery of the most important content, reviews practice questions and explains rationales, and breaks the seemingly overwhelming task of passing the exam into a simple series of events that lead to success while providing structure, support, and encouragement.

Expert Guidance + Individualized Attention + Hard Work = High Probability of Success

Dan has developed a core curriculum that covers the most heavily-tested subjects including: medication calculations, arterial blood gas interpretation, lab values, prioritization and delegation, pharmacology, diabetes, endocrine disorders, respiratory disorders, and cardiac issues such as Congestive Heart Failure and EKG interpretation. Dan then combines that core curriculum with each student’s individual weaknesses, connects each student with the best study resources, and keeps the student on track with their independent studying. Dan’s private tutoring students have a greater than 90% pass rate even though most of his students had failed multiple times previously, he has helped students who had failed up to seven times previously finally pass, and he has a perfect 100% pass rate with students on their first attempt.

Client Testimonials:

“Dan is so special because he has so much knowledge to give. He really goes back to the basics so you truly understand the material. And he helps to build your confidence so you believe in yourself.” – Kara W.

“I have to thank you so much Dan; you gave me so much confidence and support to help me achieve my ultimate goal of becoming a nurse! I was really bummed that I didn’t pass the first time, but I knew that I had to keep my head held high and continue to work on it. You helped me reorganize my thinking process and examine the NCLEX in a much simpler and rational way than I had the first time around when I was studying the Saunders book cover to cover. Really individualizing my teaching needs was what helped me pass. And I will never forget that Digoxin toxicity is brought on by hypokalemia! Thank you again and again!” – Amy G.

“Daniel, you have no idea how much your mentoring has helped me reach my goals. Thanks again. I really appreciate all your effort, guidance, and professionalism. People like you make this profession a better one. I will be eternally grateful for your work.” – Nataly T.

“I will be forever grateful in life to have gone to your 4-hour class and have met such a smart kid that changed my life when things seemed like they would never happen. These are the things I take with me forever. How can a person ever thank you for what you do?” – Flabia R.

“Dan worked with me for 15 weeks and he knew exactly what to focus on. I would say 70% of what we reviewed was on the test. Pedi diseases, ekg strip, kernig’s sign (remember when you got down on the ground to show us . . lol), I had 5 math questions too. This time the test stopped at 90 questions so I guess I knew my stuff. Thanks to your hard work and effort I finally passed. Thank you kindly so much from the bottom of my heart.” – Kathleen G.

“I can’t even find the words to express how grateful I am for your helping me pass the boards. I can’t thank you enough for your guidance, wisdom, and encouragement. This past year has been extremely difficult. It is amazing to be able to put this all behind me and move onto a career I know I will love. You truly are amazing at what you do!” – Emily L.

“Hi Dan! Guess what! I found out this morning I PASSED the boards!! Thank you so much for all of your help and especially with your awesome cardiac review! I had the full 265 which was awful, but I had at least 7 (!) EKGs! And that was just a small portion of the cardiac I had! You truly are such a great tutor. Thanks again for all your help! Best, Kerri B. (RN!)” – Kerri B.

“Dan, I would first like to say thank you for all your time and dedication while tutoring me. The way you break information down allwed me to grasp as well as retain the information. Your tutoring services helped me understand information in a different way. I recently took the NCLEX on March 2, 2015 for the first time and passed. The study guide provided by you was on point and very much accurate. A lot of the questions I knew immediately just from the study guide alone. Your strategies and tips are what helped me become successful throughout nursing school and on the NCLEX. I am truly grateful for your services and cannot thank you enough for your help. I highly recommend your services to anyone who wants to succeed.” – Niceema B.

“Hey Dan, I officially passed! I give you all the credit in the world man. Thanks for busting my ass. What can I say, Dan, you took a kid that didn’t know kidney functions and got me to an RN. You’re the best bro!” – James B.

“Hi Dan, I got the news today . . . and it says “pass”!!!! Thank you so muchhh!!!! Your tutoring has truly helped me and your encouraging words too!! I have learned so much with you and it also helped me feel more confident with the knowledge that I have gained. Thank you. Happy Holidays!!!!!” – Diana A.

“Dan, I passed!!! Thanks to you!!! Thank you for being the best tutor!!! I wouldn’t have made it without you, Dan. Thank you for everything and I thank you for being you and making a difference in my life. You changed my life. I couldn’t have passed without you!!!” – Tanya P.

“I started tutoring with Dan a few weeks after failing my first attempt at the NCLEX. I had failed after only answering 80 questions. I came to him after one of my colleagues at work had worked with him after she had failed her NCLEX and passed her second time. At this point I was willing to try anything. It was obvious to him that I had a large deficiency in content and we had a lot of ground to cover. I met with Dan once a week for about 12 weeks and attended his 4 hour prep course and the maternity/pedi prep course. As the weeks progressed I found myself doing better and better on my online tests and the quizzes he gave me every week. Just yesterday I found out that I passed my NCLEX after 75 questions! I owe my success to Dan and will recommend him to anyone who has to take the NCLEX! Trust me this man is a miracle worker! Thank you again, Dan!!” – Ellen C.

“I have always been a visual learner, and one who learns best with images, worksheets, and lectures. I did an accelerated nursing program with no previous health science background. I found nursing school very difficult as I felt like I was always behind trying to catch up to my peers who had some background in healthcare. Once I graduated nursing school I studied with only uWorld as I heard it was the best option to prepare you for the NCLEX. I did enjoy uWorld and finished the program before taking my test. Although I liked the set up of uWorld, I did not feel like I was retaining any information; it felt very random to me. At the end of a day of studying I felt like I was all over the place and unsure of the progress I was making. I did not pass the NCLEX the first time. After I failed the NCLEX I started to meet with Dan once a week. I left each meeting feeling like I was able to retain the information we went over during our session. I was able to focus on certain body systems and nursing topics. I went back to the best way I learn through visuals, worksheets, and lectures. I left each meeting feeling like I was retaining information and was able to apply it to the practice questions I did without Dan. I passed the NCLEX on my second time and felt like I would not have been able to do it without Dan. While I was taking the NCLEX the second time around I kept saying to myself “wow- I remember this from my meetings with Dan.” I felt confident leaving the test the second time around, and was ecstatic when I received the unofficial results that said “pass!” Thank you Dan for helping me succeed!” – Erica B.

“My unofficial results came in……PASS! I could not have done this without you Dan. I can’t even express how grateful I am for everything you’ve helped me with. It’s an unbelievable feeling I have right now. I just want to cry, lol. Thank you so much, Dan, you’re a Godsend. So stoked man. Thank you thank you thank you!!!” – Jake

“I graduated from my nursing program fall 2016. My predictor at the time told me I had an 89% chance of passing on my first try. I took the NCLEX March 2017 and failed after 226 questions. I was devastated, lost hope and discouraged. I attempted again in September of the same year and failed again. I built a fear surrounding this test that I didn’t want to to take it again. While upset and discouraged yet again, I decided to take a course toward my BSN and when I mentioned I had failed a classmate told me about Dan Clinton. She told me he had helped her friend and that after working with him she passed. I went on his website and enrolled in his 4hr session from there I started to worked with Dan. He tutored me for about 8 months and I used Uworld for him to see my progress. I was afraid to take this test for a third time, and Dan told me something I will never forget, “Everything you want is on the other side of fear.” He helped me build my confidence again, assured me that I was smart and that I can do it. On September 20th, 2018 I passed the NCLEX on my third try. I am so happy and grateful. We did it.” – Valdina B.
